The term CEREC is derived from ceramic reconstruction; meaning, the replacement of missing tooth structure with ceramic material.
The ceramic materials used in CEREC constructions are of the highest quality and are designed to mimic the appearance as well as the functionality of a natural tooth.
The CEREC system is comprised of a computer-controlled milling machine designed specifically for dentistry. A high-resolution scanning “camera” captures an image of the prepared tooth and then the chair-side computer is used to design a unique restoration immediately.
Previously, most complex procedures required several visits to complete. This new technology allows the clinician to place metal-free, tooth-colored restorations made of high quality, durable, ceramic materials, providing our patients with beautiful aesthetic restorations such as Crowns, Veneers, Inlays and Onlays in the one appointment.
We can provide this treatment in only one visit and we are confident in its superior fit, quality, and longevity. Studies have shown that teeth restored with CEREC can be stronger than intact natural teeth.Book Now
